Benjamin Benjamin Benjamin is a busy boy! lately he is loving his rainforest jumperoo. He gets in the seat & can really get to jumping & bouncing around.
Last week we started him on baby food. We started out with squash & this week he is eating carrots. No picky eaters in this house. Let me tell you, he is a Towe/Dill combo for sure! We are lucky to have such a good eater:)
He is teething like crazy, but still no teeth. Please, Lord, bring my baby teeth! This is no fun:(
He is very interested in crinkly things. Like a diaper, a piece of paper, the crinkly wipes package, a candy wrapper.....anything that makes crinkly noise.
He is also rolling around like crazy. I can hardly set him down on the floor & he will already be trying to roll over. He is getting pretty good at scooting too. Not too much longer & this busy boy will be crawling!
That's all for now! More to come later!

A BUST!
Last weekend Matt & I attend OSU Homecoming walkaround and pre-game festivities at TU Saturday. Let me just say that we had a great time getting out as a family, however, we hardly saw anyone we knew. What a bust!
Halloween proved to be just as uneventful. Matt dressed like cousin Eddie for work. When he got home, the roles changed & I donned my vampiress gear to pass out candy....to all 4 (yes 4, F-O-U-R, four) trick or treators. What a bust!
Buddy managed to dig under the fence last night. While eating dinner, Matt heard some commotion & looked outside & saw Buddy sitting in our neighbors yard. Not a good thing because his pit/lab mix was outside as well as the 200 lb bullmastif. What drama. The dogs are in big trouble. BUSTED!
Ben is going to my parents for a couple days starting tomorrow. I really will miss the little guy, but in lite of recent events with the above mention dogs, we are in need of some kind of barrier, be it landscape, electric fence, concrete blocks...whatever. There goes a day of vacation Matt was planning to take to get OTHER stuff done around the house.
All of this, plus more is driving me crazy. We won't even go into the fact that 5 months after delivering Ben, I'm still dealing with insurance company claims etc....What a pain in the ass!! Even more frustrating is the my 11 year old cousins could do the work of whatever idiot I have been talking to.
Thank goodness I'm married to Matt. He never looses his cool. He is always supportive of me. He may not always say or do the right thing, but I know he always means well. He is the perfect husband for me & the best Daddy for our little family. When all these things start to go crazy, I feel so lucky to have him to lean on.
Oh did I mention Ben still has no teeth?! Dear God, please bring my baby teeth. This teething stuff isn't fun & has gone on long enough! Seriously.
Whew, enough for now!

A COZY HOUSE
Burr! It's cold and windy outside! All the more reason to love our new house. It's so nice & warm and cozy! Love it!
Saturday my parents came up for a visit & we took Ben to a pumpkin patch in Owasso. It was so fun to have them here. My awesome hubby treated me to some pomegranate margaritas & pinion wood for the chiminea. Do you know I ran all over town to find that pinion wood? Finally called Reasors, they had 1 bag left & held it @ customer service for me. Love that store! It was such a nice chill weekend!
Tuesday my Mom came up for her weekly visit. She gives me a break & lets me get ahead on housework, a nap, whatever. It's always so much fun to have her around! And my brother was in town on business, so he stopped in for a couple hours. Ben cried when he left:( He has never done that before with anyone!
The Bendate: (Ben's update): He is such a great joy in our lives. We love every day with him. He is really rolling around, playing with his feet (and sometimes legs). He loves to un-velcro his diaper, he loves all of his crinkly toys. he loves his toy keys. he loves to laugh & screech out loud and talks. He is pretty independent. He does not want to be held all the time....this boy is ready to go!! I am feeling like he could be crawling in the near future....I am going to be an even busier Momma!
I think this weekend we are venturing out to Octoberfest! What fun. Should be a nice weekend and a treat for a hardworkin' daddy in this house! Let's hope the weather is nice!

THE STORY
This weekend was a crazy one! How 'bout those Cowboys??!! I am so excited football season is in full swing! And so excited for this awesome weather! It is so nice to sit on our quiet patio during the morning, in the afternoon or in the evening without breaking out in full sweat!
So Ben visited Dr Henley, his pediatrician last week for his 4 month well child check-up. He was 18lbs and 27 inches long! He is so tall his height was off the chart....literally! He was about 95th% for weight and height was 99%+. He did such a good job. He did not like his shots or the oral vaccination he got. It was sour. Why would you make something to give to kids/babies sour?
Anyway.....
I'm feeling very crafty lately. I feel like making tons of things. I have all these ideas in my head. But maybe I will just bake/cook instead. Have you been to pinterest? Love it! Makes me want to do everything I see!
Time to go, baby Ben is asleep and therefore, I should be too!

FALL
Finally! Fall weather is here! I can actually take Ben out & about without either of us pouring sweat. It is nice to be able to get out of the house every now & then. It was just too hot to do anything this summer with a newborn baby!
Last week some of my sorority sisters & their husband and kids came over for a cookout. It was so fun to have everyone together!
Ben has been growing like weeds. He is so tall he fits in 6-9 month clothes (but the body is too big). Oh well! He is into blowing bubbles & making noises with his mouth. He is a social baby & loves to talk & laugh. He is so fun right now! Last week Matt took Friday & Tuesday off work around the holiday weekend, so it was awesome to have him at home. He loved hanging out with his little buddy!!
Ben goes for his 4 month check-up in a couple weeks & I am anxious to see how much he has grown.
He loves watching Dinosaur Train & Sesame Street (I let him watch while I do dishes or wash bottles....no I don't sit him in front of it all day). He is really into reaching for objects & trying to put them into his mouth. Speaking of mouth, ugh, this baby is teething. He drools all day long & wants to eat everything. I'm hoping we can start him on some rice cereal in a couple weeks! He can roll over onto one side. He can do push-ups when he is on his tummy. He loves tummy time! Here are some recent Ben pics:
Thats about all the updates for now. We are excited about the cooler temps, cowboy football & spending time together as a family. More to come soon!

READY FOR AUGUST TO BE OVER
I'm so ready for August to be over. It has been a crazy one so far. I keep thinking if September comes, it's a new start because it's a new month.
Last week, I attend the funeral service for a sorority sister 2 days after my birthday. I had so much to celebrate for these amazing 31 years of life, but couldn't even drink my champagne :(
I had 1 sorority sister that had a brain tumor & had surgery to remove it. She has 5 month old twin girls. She is recovering, but still having some trouble with her eyesight. Thankfully she is at home and resting.
My other sorority sister Katie apparently had a pacemaker put in back in March & nobody knew, she wasn't making a big deal about it. Uhm.....29 years old with a pacemaker is a HUGE deal. Anyways, 2 weeks ago she was at work (She was Burns Hargis's secretary/assistant) and had to be rushed to the ER. Then she was taken to OU in OKC and was there until Sunday. She had coded several times, had a balloon pump put in & lots of tests. One test revealed she had a clot on the right side of her heart and the left side was working at 10%. Unfortunately her heart just couldn't recover, there was no brain activity and she passed away Sunday morning. It's such a tragedy. She & her husband just celebrated their 1 year wedding anniversary at the beginning of August AND we also found at she was 14 weeks pregnant. It's devastating. None of ever thought we would be going to a funeral so soon. However, I am not sure what the "official" number was, but it seemed like 400 people were there. No kidding, it was the largest I have ever been to. She was great. Everyone is in shock & tears. So many emotions.
Also passing away Saturday was my Dad's Aunt Alma. She had been in the ICU (in Plano, TX) for awhile. She had a rough go and even though it's hard to lose somebody, we are all so glad she isn't suffering anymore. Her funeral will be this weekend, so it's a trip back down the Tuner Turnpike for us!
And now you see why I'm ready for September. Cooler temps will hopefully come. And hopefully no more funerals for awhile! And football starts up. Kind of been a downer. However, I am so thankful for all of my family. I love each person (and dog) dearly & I truly cherish all my moments with them. Even if they make me crazy sometimes!

H-O-T
It is too hot! I know everyone is saying it. Everyone is sick of it. I'm not sure I know anyone who is liking this record breaking heat. Ugh. It makes going anywhere with a baby undesirable, but I'm tired of cluttering up the house by being here ALL DAY LONG! At least we have AC. At least we have a roof over our heads. This is my mantra: be thankful for what you've got!!

LIVIN' LA VIDA LOCA!
Our life seems crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! However, I did trade 4 days of it for a vacation in Seattle with Matt. I bought him tickets to the Seattle vs ManU soccer match back in April for his birthday. We had an awesome time. Mommy got to drink some champagne (my favorite!) and we toured Chateau St Michelle winery and Redhook Brewery. We stayed at awesome hotels and had the best time! We did miss our little guy so much though. It felt like a piece of us was missing, but we were comforted knowing his Gigi and Poppa were taking great care of him (and spoiling him lots too).
Back at home & settled in everything is going great. Ben had an excellent 2 month checkup at his dr's office. He is such a good boy. We are blessed with such a great baby!
Update on the dogs:they are being super sports about beating this heat! They love Ben (eventhough Momma doesn't let them get too close). They've only gotten ahold of 1 pacifier (which got thrown away). They are still loving their big backyard & hunting frogs and snakes is their #1 priority. Yes snakes......they get ahold of the little garder ones we have out here & like to play tug of war. Fine with me!
That is all the updates for now!

THE BUSINESS OF BABIES
I love our baby Ben! Lately he has been doing the following:
1. eating
2. sleeping
3. tooting and pooping
4. fussing
5. smiling
6. playing under his gym
7. sitting in his bouncer
8. he loves to sit outside (when the weather is cool enough)
Yay! he has been smiling:) It is so much fun & such a reward to see that baby smile. Turns a bad day into the best day of the week. This week he is 7 weeks. Time is definitely flying by fast!

EXPLODING WITH CUTENESS!
Ben loved 4th of July. I said we weren't taking him "out" before he was 2 months, but we made an exception for the holiday weekend. Saturday we hung out with the Dill side. Then Monday we spent at Gigi & Poppa's hammin' it up for some party guests. Funny thing about babies....men want to hold them more than the women. These men just fall all over themselves for babies. It is too cute. Ben was very good (we are super lucky) and did such a good job being handled by several people. Such a great baby!
Matt & I love him more every day! He is definitely our baby....you can't deny him! He is at a cute stage where he poots and coos and is starting to smile more every day! I love snuggle time with him!

OH BABY
Ben has been super busy lately. Lots of eating & sleeping (and not too many breaks for Momma). But that is ok:) At least we are on our own little schedule now. And I love it! And him too! And his Daddy of course:)
The past month, yes it has been a month already, seems to have flown by! Where do the days go? They run together. Some days it's a toss between a shower or a nap. Breakfast & lunch come after everyone (don't forget about the puppies) is fed. Breastfeeding is no cake walk. But I wouldn't trade one second of this new life for anything! It's perfect & wonderful & great! I just love Ben with all my heart. And I know Matt does too....he hardly puts him down when he comes home from work. They are best buds! It's still amazing to look at him & see what we helped create.
We had a busy Father's Day weekend. I took Matt out to Kilkenny's (it's where we had our first date) for a dinner date. Then Sunday our families came over for hamburgers & hotdogs on the grill. It was great to celebrate with Matt and my Dad:)

TIME
I cannot believe how quickly time is flying by. What is even crazier than that is our sweet little man has been here 2 weeks already! I still look down at him when I hold him and cannot believe he was INSIDE of me 2 weeks ago. Ha! Was my belly really that big? Matt tells me to hold my hands out farther:) On Friday we go see Dr Henley for his 2 week check-up.....I can't wait to see what happens there.....we took him in last week and he had already gained some weight. We measured him on Sunday and he has grown a little too. I can't wait to get the official numbers! He doesn't even look like his newborn pictures anymore.....looks more like a little boy every day.
Thursday Matt goes back to work. 1 more day with him at home:( I've already secretly cried a few tears over this. I just don't want our days together to end. I love him being at home with us, even if he is out rearranging the garage or mowing or watering the yard.....he is still HERE. There is just something magical that happens when two people have a baby together (who are still in love with each other). There really are no words to describe it. It is truly a miracle and blessing from God and we are so thankful to have been lucky enough to take part in this little man's creation. Looking down at him, so sweet, takes my breath away to know he is half Matt and half me.....sort of. So little but so perfect with every little detail in place just as it should be. Every little finger and toe and perfectly formed ears. His little bootie and perfectly rounded nose. Just amazing.
I just can't get enough of either of my guys. Time seems to be flying by so fast, and I try to make every moment count....even when we have a fussy baby or when Matt & I are tired and not communicating like normal adults. They are both so amazing and precious to me. I pray every day for God's protection of them.....don't know what I would do without either of them!

OUR BABY STORY
Sunday May 22nd my husband and I drove the St John Owasso ER and were admitted for ob observation. I was having contractions and only dilated to a "4" so they kept me for an hour to see if my labor would progress. This started at about 930 or 10pm.....and about 11pm my nurse (who is awesome) checked me and decided to tell the Dr on call I was at a "5"....even though I was still a "4". She didn't want to send me home in the storms....their hospital in Joplin had just been hit & she didn't want me to leave & have to come back during all that. THANK YOU ANDREA!!
My contractions become more severe and more frequent. I was finally admitted and taken to a labor & delivery room and in the meantime, the family started showing up. I got iv's hooked up and some medication to take an edge off the pain. All this quickly happened. My water broke and my nurse came to check me again....all of a sudden I had gone from a "6" to a "9" in 10 minutes and then I delivered Benjamin Matthew at 152am. Quick. Like so quick, my nurse actually delivered my baby & the other nurses were calling down to the ER for some extra hands. Oh and since all this happened so quickly....no epidural. Ugh.
Thank God for an awesome nurse and staff there. The Dr on call finally arrived in time to stitch my tear up, but that is all she was good for.
And more thankfully my most amazing husband, who has taken my love a million levels higher. He was the best partner I could ever ask for & the minute our son was born, was a moment no words can describe. I love you Matt!
Here Ben is showing off his milk mustache...he loves some milkies! He is so fun & such a blessing!

ANXIOUS
I'm anxiously waiting for our sweet little man to arrive!!! Impatiently though:( We went to the doctor Wed and he said we are dilated to about a 2 or 3. But nothing since then. I've had maybe 5 contractions the past couple days. Ugh. Like I said on facebook.....nobody likes to get 30% of the way there & then be at a standstill. Oh dear.....the hormones are coming out over the internet!! Get this baby out of here soon!! His Momma is going crazy! (and yes, poor Matt is ever patiently waiting, rubbing my back, calming my anxiety, being a saint!)

RELIEF
Our awesome rocker/glider from Pottery Barn Kids FINALLY came in yesterday. We've had the ottoman for about a month, but no chair. It is huge and wonderful. I love it! Thanks to my parents (Gigi and Poppa) for buying it for us! Come rock the baby one day, you won't want to leave.
I have been busy trying to get the house/yard/nursery ready for the baby.....and sometimes it just doesn't happen. Why is it so hard for people to do their jobs? Even when it is so simple, it's a struggle. I got the septic guy BACK out yesterday & he fixed our sprinkler. Hooray! That only took like uhmmmm who knows how many months. Our builder has been a bit of a bear to deal with lately, so this has seemed like a never-ending challenge.
Tuesday we had a dr appt. Nothing to report. Nothing new. Baby still sideways. Heart rate was 138-140. Typical. Normal. Fine. Next week when we go back he'll start checking me to see if my cervix has changed or if we are dilated at all. Probably not. He'll feel for the position of a head down baby. If he doesn't feel a head, we will be on our way to having an ultrasound and most likely scheduling a c-section. Baby Dill is still moving around & giving me some pretty good kicks and stretches. This Momma is ready for him to be done cookin'!! Come out and play:)
Today I am going to try to rest and make a shopping list for this weekend of baby items to return and buy. Whew. Then this weekend we are hosting a brunch for our families/mother's for Mother's Day on Sunday. Should be fun. Hopefully we can get the nursery in some kind of order before then!

STILL SIDEWAYS
Sigh. Baby Dill is still sideways:) We had a good Dr visit today. Baby is comfy as ever, chillin' sideways in my tummy. Not sure why he hasn't moved into head down position, but nothing to worry about, it could still happen. However, I think he's stubborn like his Daddy & is staying this way. So in 2 weeks we will have a scan/ultrasound done to see if he has moved, if not, it looks like a c-section will be in store for us!
Kind of have mixed feelings about this, but it's not up to me. I know recovery is longer with a c-section but at the same time, I don't want to do anything to put our baby or myself in any harm or distress. I wonder how Matt will do with the whole scrubbing in/being present for surgery?
We are getting excited for our little man to arrive! We just has an awesome shower in OKC hosted by my Aunt and are having another one this weekend hosted by my Sister-in-law. We'll have tons of stuff to wash and put away and arrange, and it is so much fun to do! There are still a couple of things Mom and Dad have to do before he arrives, so at this point, let's hope it isn't early!

SUCH A TREAT!!
Yay, hooray and big thanks to my Aunt Brenda for shipping us this awesome jogging stroller. Maybe some Dad's don't get excited about all the tiny onesies or cutsie-pie baby stuff.....but any Dad would get excited about this! Not only is it a jogging stroller, it has a plug-in for your ipod and speakers for wireless listening. It is super light & we had an awesome time pushing it around the kitchen and living room!
This weekend we are headed to OKC for a family baby shower and Easter of course! Pics are sure to come. Matt got a Sony Bloggie for his birthday so I am all about taking pics and videos with it. I hope he lets me use it!
More to come soon!

7 WEEKS TO GO!
7 weeks to go before baby gets here.....and that is if he stays in there all 40 weeks!! yikes:)
He must be getting bigger. I can feel him moving everywhere and I can feel every little movement. Which is great! Don't get me wrong, I love knowing he is super active, but a little more sleep would be nice.
There is still much to do! We are awaiting the arrival of some pieces of furniture to complete the nursery, I need to hang some curtains and of course the last 2 weekends of this month are my baby showers. It's gonna be a mad rush to put everything together before he gets here.
Monday night we took an infant care class at SJ Owasso. It was a really informative class & I felt like it was helpful. All the latest on feeding, burping, swaddling and diapering. How to care for the umbilical cord until it falls off and how to care for the circumcision. A pediatrician went over everything they do with a baby right after he is born, what the APGAR test is for, bilirubins, heat lamps, stork bites, dry sky, vernix, etc.... Matt got an A+ in the swaddling and diapering! He is going to be an amazing Dad!
Lots of stuff going on with this Momma too. A lot more dr visits to come, need to interview a pediatrician, losing control of emotions, hormones are crazy, lots of unmentionables you probably don't want to know....but I am excited more and more every day to meet our wonderful little creation. Just a hunch, but I have a feeling this little guy is going to be just like his Daddy (but with a giant amt of crazy uncontrollable dark hair)!!
Can't wait to meet him!

HOME
Home again! Today is my first day staying at home.
There is lots to do before baby Dill arrives (and yes, the runnings for a name are still a secret).
My brother was in for a visit, he is in town on business. I sure pray he is ok driving.....they don't have cars up there in NYC!! It was so good to see him!
Buddy got sick. Had to make a late night trip to the vet before we picked Bryan up at the airport. 2 shots and an antibiotic prescription and a test or two and ....(our first child, just kidding) he seems to be feeling a little better today. At least he has stopped shaking!
Poor Matt must be tired though. The man definitely needs some rest and I hope he can get some soon. At least he won't have to cover dinners anymore & the house will be nice & picked up and clean! And he won't have to do laundry either!
All of this surrounds our home & I was just thinking about the word home & what it defines. To me, my home is a safe place, it's where my family is (no matter where we are). Our house is definitely my home. Matt is definitely my home too (maybe more so sometimes).

THE HORMONES HATH COMETH
I really have been great pregnant.....up until about a week ago. It's when the pregnancy hormones really HIT me. Crying, yelling, throwing my arms in the air, a slight fit, just so horrible I need to take a nap kind of hormones. Saturday was my worst day yet. Actually more like the first day I have been a preggozilla since we have been pregnant.
To that, here are some things NOT to say to a pregopatamus:
1. NEVER tell her how big her baby is going to be while looking at her belly.
2. NEVER tell her she is emotional/her hormones are out of whack/she is overreacting/she is irrational/it's not a big deal/etc......JUST SYMPATHIZE PEOPLE!!
3. NEVER tell her your personal entire birth story. I'm not you. This is not your body or your baby. Everyone is different.
4. NEVER comment on what she is eating or NOT eating. Heartburn, gas oh and bloating are just a few things you feel after eating certain foods (even drinking Sprite can do this).
5. NEVER comment on her weight (gained or lost)
6. NEVER comment on her vision or memory (cause both of those fly out the window too...I hear you get them back after delivering)
7. NEVER give opinions on breastfeeding or how to raise the baby.
There, now that is out I feel much better:)
I'm going to feel much better soon. This is my very last week of work. Then I will be able to focus on resting & getting ready for baby & Matt's birthday and may other events coming in April. Ahhh the joy of being at home!

THINKIN' OUT LOUD
Thoughts/news/events/to-do/etc....:
*Gave work my notice yesterday. March 25th is my last day & I will officially become a stay-at-home Mom. Yay! Lots of things to get done & catch up on before he arrives! (especially the sleep).
*Have you ever had a foot sticking out of your side? I made Matt feel tonight & he totally gets why I have had no sleep the past couple of nights.
*Dogs.Are.Crazy. Is it the weather? Buddy has become an escape artist. He managed to get into the neighbors yard while we were at my parents over the weekend & today I looked outside while having dinner & he was on the WRONG side of the fence. Ugh.....
*Speaking of parents.....My Mom did an awesome job as Chairwoman for the Green Tie Gala this past weekend in OKC. It was at the Skirvin & benefited Catholic Charities Women's Sanctuary (helps get homeless women & their children off the street...job placements, housing,etc...) This year they were able to raise the most money they have ever raised. Go Mom! It was great!
*Love my husband. He is the smartest strongest (everything "est") I know. I am such a lucky girl to be married to him!
*Clean carpets before baby arrives. Register for EVERYTHING else.
*Lots of birthdays in the next couple of months.......wish I knew what the perfect gift was for some people!
*Taking a shower at night is much more beneficial......get to sleep in more, relaxes me and I can get up & throw my hair in a ponytail the next morning.

REALLY?? SPOILER ALERT.....THIS POST IS A RANT
So, yesterday Matt & I went to church. I got offended by a Sooner fan who showed up in his OU wind/track suit. I mean, whatever happened to wearing your "Sunday Best"? I know I shouldn't judge. I mean, we had on jeans, but were at least dressed up enough in them to attend a nice dinner.
And another thing.....does anybody really care about what Charlie Sheen or Lindsay Lohan is doing or not doing? I get tired of hearing about celebs doing this or that. I don't really care. They don't seem real to me anyway.
And another thing. Double counting? Geez.......all the lies & politics and everything that seems to be going on with the government is getting old. I mean, what story are they coming out with next? What are we supposed to believe anymore? And who?! And still feel good about bringing a child into who knows what kind of world.
Just one last thing. I love Baby Dill with all my heart. But this constant moving & kicking. Really? It makes me nervous. He is a mover & shaker for sure! And he loves to do it to the sound of Matt's voice. And the dogs. Really. Pretty cute if you ask me!

SIGH.....HOW MUCH BIGGER CAN A BELLY GET?
Oh. Sigh. At least maternity clothes have stretchy belly bands. And thank goodness for an amazing husband. And old school cocoa butter lotion. And flats being in style. And protein bars and fruit. And a hubby who doesn't mind cooking or bathing he dogs or carrying laundry baskets (yep, you really can be short of breath doing the laundry). And thank goodness for all the wonderful feelings being pregnant brings. And thank God for a wonderful partner, I couldn't be a happier, luckier girl!
I love my life my husband and our little party bundle in my tummy!

ANNOYED.....IS IT REALLY THAT BAD
I'm annoyed. I hate to complain, but it's gonna happen. Of course, we've been hunkered down at home the past 2 days with all the snowfall. I think we got somewhere between 18 and 20 inches.
I just dont understand why people HAD to get out & drive in it. Why why why why???!?!?
What is with all the complaining on facebook? I mean, is it so bad that we are snowed in with our families and pets?
Every day I go to work & wish about spending my days at home with my family. I complain every Monday because I wish the weekend had lasted longer. I have loved being at home with Matt & our dogs. It REALLY makes me not want to ever have to go back to work.
I just dont understand why people have had a hard time staying at home, not getting on the roads and enjoying the company of those they love. Why is it so hard to turn off the tv or internet for awhile?
Can you tell this topic annoys me? Do people not watch the news? What is it that they think they are missing out on? Diggin out a car that got stuck? Not my idea. Not at 1030pm when you had all day when it was sunny to explore. Let me remind you people, my husband was in a car wreck last week and I'm 5 months, almost 6 pregnant. Neither of us need to be out in the weather. So you know what? We've stayed our butss inside. Please follow example!!!!

THE FRIZZZ
So what has been going on? Let me give you an insight to my pregnancy lately. I love cheese, chocolate chip cookies and Belgian waffles. In fact, earlier this week Matt made me Belgian waffles for dinner with chocolate chip cookies for dessert (it was yum!).
My tummy is getting bigger. I feel like it just won't stretch anymore, but then I'm pretty sure it gets bigger. And baby flip-flops, does dives whatever back flips if you will between the hours of 2AM and 5AM.....God must be preparing me for something!
My hair is frizzing. Frizz. I've got the frizz in my baby fine locks. What the heck?! At least I have some awesome Nexxus something serum that sort of helps. However, I am also getting these weird baby bangs. Ugh. Must be the prenatals (as in prenatal vitamins). That, the pharmacy never seems to have. And then they ask if I need to speak with a pharmacist regarding my prescription. Uhm, let me think......NO!! They are vitamins for goodness sake not a class 2 narcotic!!
And through all this Matt has been wonderful. Everyday he tells me I look more and more beautiful (even when I discover I have stretch marks in places I can't see). What a great guy. Oh and for the skin......old fashioned cocoa butter lotion does the trick!

HAPPY NEW YEAR
So much has been going on, I feel like I can't even write it all for you to catch up. So......we are moving forward!
It's a new year! Yay! Lots of great things to come, I'm sure. (Baby Dill at the least).
I'm tired, it's taken a couple of days to fix the blog background & I don't have much else to report. Daily life of work, dogs, eat & sleep has been routine for the most part & I'm hoping that with the arrival of our baby, our routine will change slightly(ALOT) this year.
Dogs are good, house is great and my husband is the best ever and we have a baby on the way! Does it get any better?
